Meinl Resonant Mallets

The Meinl Gong Resonant Mallets are designed to create therapeutic and atmospheric sounds similar to whale songs.  The smaller diameter mallets, although very difficult to use, can produce higher tones. To achieve lower tones use the larger ones, which more easily create sounds on the gong.

The 20mm (0.8”) Resonant Mallet

This specially treated rubber ball creates higher tones when rubbed across the face of the gong or other metallic instruments.

This specially treated rubber ball creates higher tones when rubbed across the face of the gong or other metallic instruments.
